Well, how do you fare compared to the Zeitgeist? Chat up your fellow wooters and let us know how lame this poll was or what obvious choices we missed. For example: Was this poll a) STUPID, b) DUMB, c) POINTLESS or d) ALL OF THE ABOVE?

Right now it is politics but most people around me feel the same way, so that helps. A good dose of Stephen Colbert five nights a week is my coping strategy and much needed humor therapy.

How about "All of the Above"?

I used to feel like I could avoid politics and religion and I would be okay.

Now people respond with a knee-jerk emotional response to almsot anything.

Regardless of who they root for , people think that "their" sports teams are "class acts", while all other teams are lying cheats.

All kids are entitled whiners, except for theirs, of course.

TVs and movies are relatively safe, although a majority of people act like TV and movies are beneath them, but if you catch them with their guard down, they reveal that they are totally up to date on "The Bachelor" and "Dancing with the Stars".

Anything but politics!!!! I used to have great conversations about politics when people actually were knowledgeable about things. Now, people get two memes they agree with the content, watch some talking head, and 3 websites that push the agenda they like and act as though they personally wrote the constitution. So I would rather talk about Jesus and my feelings in a sports bar than talk about politics.
