SABRENT USB Type-C to 5G Ethernet LAN Adapter (NT-C5GA) Enhanced Performance, Clear Compatibility Upgrade your connectivity with the SABRENT USB Type-C to 5G Ethernet Adapter (NT-C5GA), now with clearer compatibility guidance and enhanced support resources. Delivering blazing-fast 5Gbps speeds, this adapter is optimized for modern USB-C devices with data-capable ports. It’s perfect for streaming, gaming, file transfers, and other high-bandwidth activities—provided your networking hardware meets 5GbE requirements. Key Features: • Full 5GbE speeds require: A USB 3.1 Gen 1+ port, a CAT 6a+ Ethernet cable, and 5GbE-compatible network equipment. • Auto-negotiation ensures the adapter adjusts to 5GbE, 2.5GbE, 1GbE, 100Mbps, or 10Mbps speeds based on your setup. • USB-C Port Requirement: Only data-capable USB-C ports are supported. Power-only ports (charging ports) will not work. • Rugged aluminum alloy body for efficient heat dissipation and long-term durability. • No external power required – powered via USB-C bus for simple plug-and-play operation. • Easy driver-free installation on Windows 10/11 and macOS. Linux & other OS may require manual drivers.
- True 5GbE Performance – Achieve full 5Gbps speeds only with compatible hardware: A USB 3.1 Gen 1+ port (10Gbps recommended), a CAT 6a or better cable, and a router or switch supporting 5GbE. Lower-speed components will limit performance.
- Crystal-Clear Compatibility – Works with USB Type-C ports that support data transfer (USB 3.1 Gen 1 or later). Not compatible with power-only USB-C ports. Please check your device’s specifications before purchase.
- Smart Auto-Negotiation – Adapts to available network speeds, supporting 5GbE, 2.5GbE, 1GbE, 100Mbps, and 10Mbps connections for maximum compatibility
- Durable, Portable Design – Built from a rugged aluminum alloy for enhanced heat dissipation and longevity. Compact and lightweight, it’s travel-friendly and perfect for prolonged use.
- Plug-and-Play (With Important Notes) – Windows 10/11 and macOS require no drivers. Some Linux and other OS may need manual driver installation. Check our updated troubleshooting guide for setup assistance.
