EL-531TGBDW model is perfect for students studying general math and science, pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, biology, and chemistry and is comparable to the ti-30iis. This calculator performs 273 scientific, math, and statistic functions. This EL-531TGBDW features a sleek White on White design. This calculator utilizes a 2-line display featuring an exponent symbol and direct algebraic Logic (D.A.L.), which allows users to enter the elements of an expression in the exact order that they appear when written. The home key allows users to start fresh from any screen. EL-531TGBDW has eight temporary memories, one independent memory, and one last answer memory. This calculator also allows equation editing & playback, 1 & 2 variable statistics, normal & Stuart modes, six regression types, and n-base calculations: hex, bin, dec, oct, pen. Other functions include: logarithms, reciprocals, powers, roots, factorials, trigs, and hyperbolic trigs. Includes a 3D light reflecting, protective hard case and operates on hybrid power (solar and battery).
- 2-LINE TEXTBOOK-STYLE DISPLAY: A 12-digit, 2-line screen with Direct Algebraic Logic (D.A.L.) shows equations as they appear on paper, keeping both the entry and the answer visible for easy review.
- SAT-APPROVED & DUAL POWERED: Approved for SAT and PSAT/NMSQT exams, it runs on solar power with a battery backup, with acrylic display protection and a protective hard cover for daily transport.
- 273 FUNCTIONS FOR EVERYDAY COURSEWORK: Handles general math, pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, biology, and chemistry, including 1 and 2 variable statistics with 6 regression types.
- QUICK CORRECTIONS AND RESETS: Equation editing and playback let students fix one step without re-entering the whole problem, and a home key clears the way for the next calculation.
- TRUSTED BY WORKPLACES FOR DECADES: Sharp has been a dependable name in office calculation for generations — practical tools built around the way people actually work.
