Comfort King of Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combos
By TheLawIsSacred on Reviewed in the United States on January 17, 2025
I've tried my fair share of keyboard and mouse combos, but the Logitech MK710 reigns supreme regarding comfort and functionality. This combo has been a staple on my desk and is still strong. Here's why I'm giving it a royal five-star rating: Ergonomic Bliss: The keyboard is a dream to type on, with sculpted, concave keys that cradle your fingertips and a cushioned palm rest that provides excellent support. Even after hours of typing, my hands and wrists feel comfortable and fatigue-free. Hyper-Fast Scrolling: The mouse's hyper-fast scrolling wheel is a game-changer for navigating long documents and web pages. It spins effortlessly, allowing me to fly through content with ease. And when I need more precision, I can switch to click-to-click scrolling with a simple button press.   Long-Lasting Battery Life: I can't remember the last time I had to change the batteries in this keyboard and mouse. The impressive battery life means I can go months without worrying about replacements. Convenient Media Controls: The dedicated media keys on the keyboard are a handy addition. I can easily adjust the volume, play/pause music, and access other media controls without interrupting my workflow. Reliable Wireless Connection: The wireless connection is solid and dependable, with no lag or dropouts. The tiny unifying receiver stays plugged into my computer, and I've never had any issues with connectivity. A Few Minor Gripes: While I'm a big fan of the MK710, there are a couple of minor drawbacks that I've seen mentioned in other reviews: Size and Weight: This combo is not exactly compact. The keyboard is full-sized with a number pad, and the mouse is on the larger side. This might not be the best choice if you're looking for a travel-friendly option. Not Ideal for Gaming: While the mouse is comfortable and responsive, it's not designed for high-performance gaming. Gamers might prefer a mouse with more programmable buttons and a higher DPI sensor. Overall, if you're looking for a comfortable, reliable, and feature-rich wireless keyboard and mouse combo, the Logitech MK710 is an excellent choice. It's a workhorse perfect for everyday computing tasks, and its ergonomic design makes it a joy to use, even during long work sessions.

Logitech has Changed!!! Lower quality products, fails just after warranty. NOT worth the money.
By David E on Reviewed in the United States on April 9, 2015
Keys stick in the up position and do not depress, resulting in misspelled words needing correction. This has been going on for well over a year now but I have lived with it, thinking they had a five year warranty(nope, only 3). M705 Mouse failed 3 months out of warranty. Single left click would result in multiple clicks, impossible to click, hold and drag to highlight. Logitech says it is equipment failure on both but out of warranty by 3 months. SOL We can't help you. They also informed me that there were NO EXCEPTIONS, even before I asked. No offer to replace the set as a "good will" gesture. No offer to sell me a new one at a "customer loyalty" discount. If only one had failed, I might overlook it. However, because both failed just after warranty and Logitech will do absolutely nothing to make me feel that they care, I have to conclude that they don't care and Logitech has changed. I have used Logitech since 1992. This is the first time I have ever tried to turn in a warranty claim. I am still using some of their older wireless mice that are over 8 to 10 years old but their new stuff is MUCH lower quality and Logitech just doesn't care anymore. In the past, I have never had a Logitech product fail until the warrant was many years past and the product was completely worn out. Logitech has lowered quality to just exceed the warranty and is thinking that no one will notice. I have taken notice. Read the one star reviews and you will see the same issues over and over with the M705 mouse and the MK700/710 keyboard. Why pay a lot for a Logitech product when you can buy a much less expensive product that will last just as long? Look elsewhere because Logitech has changed from what they used to be. It is time for another company to take the lead and make quality mice, keyboards and accessories that last and give great customer service. Logitech used to be THE leader, now they are just another company selling crap at high prices. The complaints about this keyboard and mouse start on Amazon in 2010 or 2011. It does not appear that Logitech has done anything to correct the problems customers have complained about. Logitech has continued, for years now, to make and sell a product that they know is causing headaches for their customers and poor reviews for their company products. I believe this is another reason to move away from Logitech. If you think replacing a lightly used keyboard/mouse set every 3 years is acceptable, you may think my criticism of Logitech is overly harsh. I, on the other hand, after getting used to a 10 year life from a well made product, find it very hard to stomach such a drastic drop in quality and service from a former industry leader such as Logitech. For those of you who are still reading, here is your reward. I have been researching other manufacturers of keyboards and mice. I ran across a company called A4Tech that has been around since 1987. A4Tech is well respected in the rest of the world but has done very little marketing in the US. Their products are sold here on Amazon as well as Newegg. Their model 9300F is a wireless keyboard and mouse combination for 39.99 as of this writing. The mouse is a G10 model of their V-tech series that will read on almost any surface, even glass, they claim. Software is available on their website to reassign button functions and add multiple device pairing. They only put a one year warranty on their products but if they are well made and last, a longer warranty may not be needed. They are also $30 less expensive than the Logitech combo. I have one ordered from Amazon and will give further review here, after they arrive. I hope this review has been informative and helpful for you. If it has helped you please vote for it. If it has not helped you, please leave a comment as to how it needs to be improved. Thank you for your time.
