Logitech Wireless Mouse M325 - Red

I really like this mouse and use it on my home laptop. I bought one for my work laptop but after a couple years the left mouse switch stopped working. I ordered this identical one. It arrived January 16th. As of April 7th, the left mouse switch started acting flakey when clicking and dragging. I replaced the battery in the mouse but nothing changed. I thought it was my work laptop and rebooted but that wasn't it. I took the same mouse from my home laptop, plugged it into my work laptop and it works great. My old mouse is several years old and works great. The newer mice of this same model break in a very short period of time. What happened to Logitech quality?
