Feels flimsy but works very well

I wanted a light weight headset and wow does this qualify! People I game with say that my voice sounds great! I do miss the mute button and volume control that were in the right ear of my old headset - guess I had to give that up for it to be as light as it is. On this one the volume and mute switch are half way down the cord on the right hand side.

Decent with annoyances

I bought this to replace a Logitech H390 that would no longer work with my work laptop after my employer updated it from Windows 10 to Windows 11 (Windows wouldn't find the mic, even with driver updates on the work laptop; the headset worked fine with other Windows 11 machines). This one works without issue. I use it for work from home meetings and calls mainly via Webex. The good: Sound is good. Mic is apparently good and very clear- as reported by other callers and meeting attendees. Sound is perfectly adequate for voice calls, not going to wow you for music or other content, but speech ineligibility is quite good. It's light and compact, fairly comfy. The bad: The cable is thin, cheap, and absolutely refuses to unkink from unwrapping from the factory packaging. It's a horrible wrinkled mess, and super annoying. The similarly priced Logitech headset I bought this to replace has a much nicer cable. The inline mute/volume has issues. The mute switch is not intuitive, and nearly impossible to read the symbols on it- it's black on black. Unless you're in a brightly lit room, it's impossible to read. There's zero visible indicator whatsoever you're on mute or un-muted. In my home office, I can't even see what position the switch is in, and you can't really even feel for what position the switch is in without feeling it. And is mute down or up? I can't remember. If I don't return it over this, I'll probably add some paint to the switch to indicate red/green for mute. I get that this is the lowest priced USB model EPOS sells, but some simple contrast on the mute switch would make the product SO much more enjoyable to use. The similarly priced Logitech H390 this replaced has a red light indicator for mute on the inline control. I'm also not a huge fan of the passive volume wheel on the cable. It's way to easy to change the volume unintentionally. The adjustment isn't very linear and is pretty touchy. The Logitech H390 has up/down buttons on the inline control that work better. Overall compared to the Logitech H390? This one is a little more comfortable. The foam on-ear pads are gentler, cooler, allow some background noise (which I like, working at home) and overall it doesn't fit as snug as the Logitech, which makes it more comfortable for me. The Logitech has pleather pads that are still on-ear, but block more background noise and because they don't breathe, feel hot after short use. The headband on the Logitech has a little padding to it, this does not. But it's lighter and still fairly comfy. The mic is easier on this to flip up out of the way. The Logitech had a very stiff adjustment which took two hands. Both headsets will only work with the mic on the left side. Bottom line: Cheap, but mostly good. The biggest flaw is the unintuitive mute switch, the second would be the cord which just won't relax and straighten out. If not for those flaws, it functions great - especially for voice quality.
