Great Case and Superior Customer Service from Griffin
By Singer on Reviewed in the United States on March 23, 2013
I ordered this for my new iPad mini. It was easy to put on and provides great protection for the device. I was disappointed in the screen protector part, however, since it had small "rainbow" spots on it in various areas and scratched very easily. I had been careful not to wipe it with anything abrasive but there were scratches on it within the first week of use. The rainbow spots were very distracting as well. I contacted Griffin via their email contact form on their website, to find out if I could replace just the screen protector portion of the case. To my surprise, I received a reply back within a day apologizing and saying that I must have received a defective unit. The said they would send me out an entire new case and that I didn't need to send the old one back. I replied back with their requested information ( a couple of pictures of the problem) and heard back within the hour! As promised, they've sent me the new case and this screen protector does not have the rainbow spots and so far hasn't scratched at all. It even feels more sturdy than the one that came with the first case. I am totally impressed with Griffin's customer service. It is no doubt, the best I've seen for an Internet purchase, in a really long time! Highly recommend this case and Griffin as a company. I will definitely look at their products first in the future.

Sturdy case, easily scratched.

Great case for protecting. BUT, it lost 2 stars due to 2 things. 1: the plastic screen protector scratches easier than anything i've ever seen!! I'll eventually be cutting it out and just using this case for drop safety. Gripe number 2: the stand. It works great and holds the ipad up nicely, but when compared to the survivor case i had on my full size Ipad, this one you can't use the stand to hold onto the ipad, as it pulls off far too easy. Good case for cheap, but it's got its drawbacks.
