600dpi Handheld Wand Scanner

I was so excited about this product, as a teacher I have tons of lessons, manuals and just stuff I run across at library's and workshops I wish I could copy for classroom use, and this seemed like perfection. But the included SD card that the PageManager program is pre-loaded on is defective. On top of that, although you can plug the scanner directly into your computer you can't scan anything much less calibrate the poor thing without a working SD card. Contacted the Manufacturer's Customer Service department and the advised me to try and copy the program on to my computer with the MicroSD's Adapter and purchase a new SD card, really? Apparently, they have no more and the company the partnered with for this product is out of business. So if you get a dud there is really no recourse. I brought my brother one for Christmas I hope his works well. Don't even bother with this model, their are cheaper versions which are made to function with any MicroSD card, just generally aren't included. I choose this one because with SD card and specific program I thought it would be user friendly and straight-forward. Nope
