great tool!

I bought this for my husband, who is the main cook in our household. We have reams of recipes printed from the Internet, yet can never find them when we need them. His tablet seemed like the obvious answer, but lying on the countertop puts the tablet in danger and makes the recipe hard to read. This tool solved all those problems handily - easy to hang up and take down, and to move around, and at the perfect height - and adjustable so that you can get it right where you need it. It also turned out to be useful in the office for watching movies or the news while working on other things at the computer. Eliminates the need for a TV in the office!

I wanted to love this product. I really wanted this to work. I use my iPad all the time in the kitchen. The design fits the cabinets fine but the quality of the product is horrible. I pulled it out of the box and it is simple connect it to the cabinet and place your iPad in it. Well the swivel was very loose and would not stay in place. I could tighten it down with a hex (allen) wrench. Now to the major issue and why it goes back minutes after getting it. The top adjustable clip (upper device mounting bracket) that should hold the iPad in place moves freely and will not help to secure the device and that is its primary job. Fail!!!!! So if you were using it and you accidentally bump it your iPad could fall to the floor, sink, or counter and break because it does not secure the device it just slides up and down even though you have it in the lock position.
