If you have a Surface (or any computer with Bluetooth) get it!

I highly recommend getting this mouse if you have a Surface Pro 3. It's as simple as putting the batteries in, clicking "Pair" and you're good to go. What a beautiful concept of not having to deal with clicking a bunch of button combinations and then having to input a key code etc. etc. The quality of this mouse is just about unsurpassed for a lower price than anywhere else I've seen. Plus this is the only mouse that I've bought so far that actually works with the Surface Pro 3. Some had a better design or more bells and whistles but didn't work at all. The ability to use it without a USB dongle makes it just that much better since I only have one USB port on the side of my tablet. The ergonomics of it are a little odd and take a little getting used to since there are technically no sides to it and nowhere to rest your unused fingers like a traditional mouse. The size and shape of it is perfect though, especially for a tablet. It makes it very easy to fold it flat and stick it in my shirt pocket or in my laptop bag without taking up any additional real estate. For those that complain about "Haptic Clicking"...there is an app in the Windows store that will allow you to adjust all settings related to the touch wheel and button reactions. And if I'm not mistaken, there is a regular application that you can download from Microsoft if your computer is not Windows 8. It allows you to adjust how loud and how strong the vibration feedback is, as well as what the scroll wheel does when clicked, flicked, double tapped and slow rolled. Summary: LOVE IT!

Loses connection frequently, very annoying! Otherwise fairly decent.

So this is a top dollar mouse with the unique features that it closes flat, and connects via bluetooth, leaving all USB ports free for other tasks. Pros: The mouse functions well, when the connection is working. The bend flat to turn off feature is cool, and I do like that it hardly takes up any space in my overcrowded laptop bag. Right and left buttons work well too. Cons: The scroll touchpad between the buttons is ok, but is a somewhat funky and imperfect simulation of a scroll wheel. It is not as good as well designed scroll wheels I have used from both Microsoft and Logitech. Not quite ready for prime time. The worst problem, which seriously degrades the productivity value of the mouse, is that the bluetooth signal cuts out frequently at random moments, requiring the mouse to be turned off by flattening, then re-curving the mouse to turn it on and reset the bluetooth signal. Again, this demonstrates this mouse as not quite ready for prime time. I can only recommend this mouse if you really need a bluetooth mouse that does not monopolize a USB port, AND you are short on space and need a mouse that stores flat, otherwise, it is not worth the high price.
