it's NEVER easy to properly place a screen protector onto a phone ...
By Amazon Customer on Reviewed in the United States on May 31, 2016
Let's be fair: it's NEVER easy to properly place a screen protector onto a phone or tablet. If you're a perfectionist like me, any small spec of dust will caught in between the device and screen protector will drive you nuts! The installation process will undoubtedly test your patience, but if you can deal, this is indeed the best screen protector that money can buy! ZAGG's customer service is really top notch. I know first-hand, because I'm on my 3rd screen protector! The first one I bought had a small blemish on one of the corners cause by me lifting it up after it had been installed (I though I had noticed a blemish). I requested a warranty replacement which arrived in approximately 1 week. The second one was really fouled up during installation (again, my fault), so I requested yet another warranty replacement. Third time's a charm! So how did I finally get it installed to my liking? First off, I made sure to have ample lighting from both directly above and from an angle. I had a bright LED light above, and was relatively close to a window with plenty of sunlight. I wiped the screen THOROUGHLY with the alcohol pads included in the box. They weren't the best, or moistest for that matter, but they work. I then THOROUGHLY wiped any remaining lint and dust with the included microfiber cloth. Word of warning: the microfiber cloth always comes with some sort of lint on it. It's very annoying! Just shake it off whenever you notice it depositing lint onto your device, and always remember to work from the inside out. The last step is simply placing the screen protector onto the device. For this, I went to the bathroom, where I had run a hot shower for a few minutes to develop some steam, and ensure that there was no floating dust in the air. The screen protector basically adheres itself to the device - no need for manual assistance. Once it had set, I found a couple of bubble that I was (surprisingly) able to work out with ease! Installation for this product is a pain in the rear end, but that can be expected from all screen protectors. What sets this one apart from the competition is the product quality and customer service responsiveness. They replaced my first 2 screen protectors with no questions asked! One small note: they do charge a nominal fee for warranty replacements in order to cover shipping costs (approx. $5).

Over priced. Warranty is basically a scam.
By Sarah on Reviewed in the United States on May 24, 2020
TL;DR— not worth the extra cost, it will break and the lifetime warranty is a scam (website doesn’t work, always out of stock), just order a cheaper one and replace— IF you can somehow get Zagg to honor the warranty they will charge you at least $7 to send you a new one when this breaks (and it will def. break) This was a great screen protector for the several months it lasted before cracking. That partially justifies the steep price tag compared to other screen protectors— but not really. After I purchased this from amazon I registered this product on the Zagg website, which is necessary to potentially claim a replacement through the “lifetime” warranty program. When it broke, I logged back into their website to order a replacement. The first thing that was annoying was they had a message saying any product ordered within a several years long period would need to be re-registered after they had redesigned their website— my screen protector did not fall into this category, but I assume many people were out of luck on their warranties since they probably no longer had their receipts from screen protectors they had already registered. There was no email or anything warning consumers of this issue, although it’s possible it went out to only the affected people. When I tried to order a replacement for my broken screen protector I got an error message telling me to try again later. Then the screen protector was out of stock. Then the website is down for maintenance. Then it was out of stock again. The Zagg screen protector on my phone is also broken and also had a warranty. Between the two I have been unable to order a replacement despite trying many, many times. I‘m not a computer engineer or anything, but my computer literacy is usually sufficient to navigate consumer websites. I’m pretty sure the issue is not with me, and if I am doing something wrong it’s because they have intentionally made their website impossible to navigate. Eventually I gave up and just replaced the screen protector on my phone with a cheaper one. I was able to buy 2 new screen protectors for the same price as the SHIPPING for what the warranty replacement for the Zagg screen protector would have been if it was ever in stock when their website was working, and the difference in quality is negligible. I don’t appreciate paying extra for a warranty that is not honored and having my time wasted trying to order a replacement when it’s clearly designed to be impossible. I also ended up keeping a broken screen protector on my phone and iPad for months while trying over and over again to order my replacement since it was under warranty.
