Great power backup for my NAS and router

I bought this UPS to protect my new Synology NAS, and also the internet router and an Abode security/smart home hub. Today I had the first outage since getting the unit. It worked exactly as expected, keeping my internet and WiFi up, and cleanly shutting down the NAS after 10 minutes of no power. I really like that the unit is low-profile and fits in the small space under the couch where I need it. Highly recommended.

Did not work for my PC

This unit shut off twice in the first month even though the outlet it was plugged into didn't even lose power! I thought it was defective, but upon contacting CyberPower support, I was informed that this unit is not rated for my PC which uses a 1050W power supply. They also suspect that that my PC may require a true "sinewave" solution (this unit uses a "simulated sinewave). So, partially my fault for not checking the specs of this device and my PC. But, I also put some blame on CyberPower for advertising this as being able to support desktop PCs without any warning that it won't work with just any desktop PC. Because I missed the Amazon support window, it's now just an expensive doorstop.
