Epic fan! Yes, it's loud at higher speeds. It's supposed to be. Don't buy it if that's an issue.

Questioning the IP rating of these

In a typical noctua fashion these fans perform great while they work, they're not unreasonably loud except at max speed (even then they're quiet for the beasts they are). They move plenty of air as well, however I am using these in a terrarium style environment, the humidity ranges between 60 and 80%, both fans failed within a month Not sure if I'm unlucky and got two duds or if that IP52 rating isn't accurate.
