Excellent job providing Turtle Beach quality at a cheap price.

I had a PX11, meant for playstation, but was using it for PC. Long story short, through fault of my own, it found itself in pieces. I wanted to replace it, but Amazon is a thing now, so let's see what there is. Turns out, it was too much product for that, because the same quality was delivered through a trimmed down product that removed the USB parts and all the equipment needed to hijack a playstation sound. Of course, Turtle Beach wanted me to buy their newest Zxx, but I knew the 11, and knew it was for me. Because most headphones want to deliver on sound isolation, pleather is used on the headphone pads. But for long duration use, nothing beats the mesh fabric. Their newest headset uses the pleather, so I hope they keep this model on the market for a long time. Despite the confusion on the comments and questions, this is not the PX11 sold in Walmart and Best Buy. It doesn't have a USB connection, and there is an optional splitter cable for audio/mic connections for desktop PC (why they don't have a single cable like laptops? IDK). So, for a desktop, you plug the splitter into the audio/mic, and plug the headset into the splitter. For a laptop, phone, aux in a car, and every thing but an iphone because Apple is a special snowflake, you plug the headset directly into the audio/mic port. Behind the mesh for the ears, there is just some regular duty foam, but behind the padding on the top, there seems to be some basic memory foam. L and R are properly labeled on the inside, and the mic boom rotates out of the way when not in use. The joint on the ear pads don't allow individual rotation, but the ball joint lets it align with the sides of your head just fine. Overall it delivers on the expectations I have for Turtle Beach, decent quality audio built for long term gaming use.

Sound comes out of these

My old Ear Force XLC Stereo Headset finally broke on me, so I ordered these. Probably best set of headphones I've ever owned. Without a doubt the best bang for your buck. EDIT: After owning them for about 8 months, the cord has worn out and broken around the base of the earphone. Only the left speaker still works, the right one was going in and out a lot for awhile and then stopped working completely. I didn't test the microphone since it broke, but I'm not hopeful. They were great when they were new, but I only paid about $14 for mine, and it shows. They were really comfortable to wear, and they sounded great, but don't count on them to last even a year.
