Great keyboard! Totally recommend.

Great product! Keyboard not small or terribly portable, but perfect for using with iPad or phone. I can now type and chart so much faster on my medical charting iPad app I use, and still have ability to use the touchscreen. This is about thie size of a piece of loose-leaf paper, and pretty thick. Not super lightweight--check dimensions carefully if you are looking for something to carry around with you. This does sit much nicer on my lap than my normal keyboard I use now at work with my Mac. The slot for your device has a grippy feel to it and holds both my iPad air and S5 in any position. Had to take the cover off my S5 (heavy cover) to insert, although able to keep the iPad cover on to insert into the slot. I like that it uses AA batteries, so will not have to worry about it losing power at odd times when I am not able to charge it, as long as I have batteries nearby. The on-off switch is underneath the keyboard and you have to lift up the keyboard to use it, which is a tiny inconvenience. The keyboard is not backlit, but the keys stick up far enough and are in the normal places they should be, that typing should not be an issue. I can type really fast with this keyboard, probably faster than the bigger ones I normally use for my computer...will probably replace my normal keyboard with this one for my Mac at work, just because it does type so well and I can hold it on my lap so perfectly. As I said before, it is not super-lightweight or thin, but to use at your desk or carry short distances not a problem. Pairs up to 3 devices separetely with the dial, so you don't have to pair every single time you use a different device, just switch the dial to 1,2 or 3. The only other portable keyboards I've used before were small ones for Kindle. This is so much easier to use, and am extremely glad I got it. Will make my work so much easier. I thought getting a keypad for my iPad contradicted the whole idea of a tablet, but instead it has greatly increased its usefulness and efficiency. If you are looking for something lightweight, ultra-portable, and tiny, don't get this. If you want a good, solid keyboard that is laid out perfectly and a great size for your lap, AND that you can type fast on, get this one. And it is still small enough I can carry it around in my workbag or Mac carrier when I need to. I just wish I'd gotten this a long time ago for work--would have made my job so much easier. Great purchase.

I'd need a flowchart to explain how many ways this sucks...
By Carlos Spicyweiner on Reviewed in the United States on April 25, 2015
I'm very surprised to see a logitech product suck this bad, as all my mice and keyboards are Logitech, and I generally find them the best in the business, and that's out of two decades of IT work in Silicon Valley. In this case, though, someone showed some very bad judgement in attempting to use weight instead of leverage to prevent the top-heaviness incurred by a tablet. Deliberately weighing the thing down so that it's so heavy as to be really obnoxious--what is that? Worse yet, it's heavy enough to be really annoying, but still not heavy enough to prevent tip-over anyway, so why weigh the thing down at all--even if that made sense? The keys are also really annoying. They might be the most cumbersome keys I've ever experienced. The whole thing feels like a child's toy with a lead sinker inside. I'm tempted to give credit for at least making a Bluetooth that's relatively trouble-free, but that just broke as well, and now I'm stuck with a broken-down, weighted-down child's toy that would suck if it were not broken. Logitech, you need to seriously fire whoever convinced you to sell this crap with your name on it. I'm not exaggerating at all in saying it seems like someone inside your company is playing a prank on you. Exploding cigars, whoopee-cushions, and fake vomit are not funny, but at least they're blatant. This is just a horrible piece of trash that seems deliberately designed to degrade your company.
