It satisify my needs perfectly.
By Yang, Tian-Hwa on Reviewed in the United States on January 9, 2015
I needed a tablet that will allow me to do the following - Read PDF (scanned not OCRed), I read a lot of history books, fantasy novels and mangas, so I need something that would render color pages and scanned old maps very well, can't do it on a eReader. - Watch video files, DVDs, RealMedia files, DIVx, MKV, and the likes. I know Apples and Android will not let you read DVD files so I need one with Windows OS. For those two things I find this device to work perfectly and though still a kinda pricy, but I'm cheap to begin with. Few things I didn't like. 1. The keyboard - it is small, but it is designed for a 10inch laptop, so it take some getting use to; It is too flexible for my liking, when I try to open the laptop with the keyboard and tablet attached together I can notice the keyboard warps a little when I apply force to the tablet with one and and hold the keyboard with another. 2. I also don't like how there is nothing to hold onto when I try to open the laptop, like maybe a latch or something, now when I try to open it I have to kinda set it on the edge, stick one finger in while work the other one in and split it open like a clam. Few things I notice from other review. 1. Trouble turning on the device after a while. I read this a lot in the review, I personally haven't had any problem with it, I do notice pressing the power button doesn't turn the screen on right away, there is a few second delay. 2. Keyboard mess with the way this works sometime, I notice if I turn the tablet screen off (by pressing the power button) with the keyboard attached, leave it for a while say an hour, comeback to it detached the tablet from the keyboard the tablet will not respond, I will have to do a hard reboot, however, if I press the power button while it is attached to keyboard the screen turns on with no problem. 3. when battery start to get low, like < 10%, the graphic start to suffer, like I mentioned above I use the tablet to read mangas and old maps, and when you click on the next page there is a delay for the software to bring the pictures into focus, with low battery the delay is more noticeable. Battery usage 1. It take 4.5 to 5 hours to charge it fully. 2. I can use it for 3 days straight with just reading PDFs and listening to music and light video watching. I am not sure how long the device will run if I just watch DVD, will find that out next. Updates: I have this device for over six month now, use it everyday, and have not experience any problem with it. It always turns on when I want it to, it hasn't crashed on me. I really can't complain about it. Couple more things I noticed during the past six month: Sometime when I plug it in to charge, the device will come on (I normally charge it while it is in the off mode) and instead of charging the battery it will actually drains the battery, simple fix, make sure the device is powered off when you plug it in. The battery life on this is amazing, I just return to LAX from a 11 hours flight (London Heathrow) I was able to watch movie continuously for the duration of the flight (I didn't charge it cause I left the charger in the luggage), at the end of the trip I still have about 3% power left.

This is one of the worst products I've ever bought
By Charlotte White on Reviewed in the United States on November 30, 2015
This is one of the worst products I've ever bought. I'm embarrassed that I made such a bad purchase. Firstly, the touch screen started working really shoddy after about 2-3 months. Sometimes it would work, other times useless. After I'd had the device for about 6 months, the touch screen just stopped working altogether, so I can only use it when it's docked to the keyboard. Secondly, the battery dies really easily. If it's not plugged in when I'm not using it, I come back, and the battery is dead... even if I didn't use it at all. Thirdly, it's incredibly difficult to turn on. I can press and press and press the power button, but nothing happens. There have been times when I just had to decide not to use my laptop simply because I couldn't turn it on. Finally, today... exactly one year after I got the thing, as if it were some demented anniversary gift, reminding me of my terrible purchase, the screen just went dead. I was watching a movie, and the sound continued, but the screen just went black. Sometimes turning it off and back on again is helpful, right? So, I turned it off... but, as I've mentioned previously, it's incredibly difficult to turn on again. So far I've had no success in doing so. I would have returned this device long ago except that I live in China, so it's hard deal with overseas transactions. I read the other reviews and see that other people haven't had the same issues, so I must have gotten a dud. But what a dud it is!! Awful!!!!!
