Corsair Voyager Air 2 Plus 1TB WiFi Hard Drive

Product delivered in no time, thanks for that. Now after opening on 6-12-14 tried to use it with their program from app stores, and surprise I have a voyager air 2 with voyager air 1 firmware, which cannot be upgraded without the 5v adapter that it does not come with. I found that tidbit out after several days of trying to get it to update. The new version of their app is not at all compatible with the old firmware. Now it gets fun, I contacted their "support" people with a ticket on 6-18-14, with no response unitl 2nd comment on 6-24-14. Hopefuly I can return this and buy the seagate, it has better reviews and features. Here is the whole conversation copied from the ticket system, last comment is 1st. I planned on using this unit over the 4th holiday, now I am stuck with a 200$ useless drive because someone cannot get ther act together and send an adapter. I have been dealing with this thing not working since I bought it, this service tag has been open since 6-18-14.... 2 weeks... This is the last corsair product I will ever attempt to buy, it is likely going back, if I have not exceeded the return period and my amazon review of this is not going to be flattering...... I do service work myself, can you guess what products I will not be recommending. This is ridiculous and totally awful service. We recently had an emergency evacuation due to gas leak and only recently the fire marshal allow us to go back to the building to continue our work. The adapter is set to ship overnight tomorrow. Please attach a photo/screenshot/PDF of the receipt/invoice to the ticket so that we can validate the warranty. The attachment area is at the bottom of this screen. Afterwards, respond back with a ticket comment so that we know it's been attached. Once verified, we will overnight a power adapter for you. We're truly sorry for this inconvenience.
