Essential but Expensive

This thing should be a standard part of the packaging instead of trying to make the entire charger a wall-wart. That aside, the cable itself is thick, sturdy, and plenty long for setting up anywhere. In-fact by adding this cable, you aren't bound by the short length of the usb cable that connects to the MacBook.

Power rating different on product packaging

The product description says :Use it with MagSafe and MagSafe 2 power adapters, 10W and 12W USB-A power adapters and 29W, 30W, 35W, 61W, 67W, 87W, 96W and 140W USB-C power adapters. The product packaging does not specify 140W and goes upto 96W. I still kept it bec I don’t have a 140W charger but it may matter if you do.
