HP 63 Tri-color Ink Cartridge

For years, I've used HP printers for my home business and personal use and for years, I had no issues other than the cost being high for inks until lately. In an effort to save money, I began using refilled ink cartridges and didn't have any problems until the last few times I purchased them, and they would only print in purple. I did some online research and it seems in an effort to stop refillable ink cartridge sellers, some printers were using technology that was unique to regions and if the region for the printer doesn't match the cartridge region, it won't print properly. Not 100% sure this is legit, but it was enough to make me look at other printers and I found one with ECO tanks where the black, and color bottles to refill cost 32 dollars from the supplier and print over 14K pages color and black or around 7,000 each per filling. I was lucky to get 2 months out of my old HP printer and I've already had this printer for a month, and the ink has barely gone down at all in the viewable window for the ECO tanks and I print a number of pages every day.
