I would raise the rating on this if this monitor last me at least 5 years or I buy a new computer that can handle High Definition settings for games. update 2012 december 21: if you have a mounting arm, get the one that is about 20 inches and above if you are going to stack the monitors on top of each other. If there is a keyboard drawer add the appropriate height. This measurement is ideal is you use the monitor stand that came with the monitor. I now own 2 of these monitor with no issue so far. My computer can use this monitor as an audio output, utilizing the speakers that came with the monitors but may not be loud enough for sound to travel across a room.
