Amazon claims certified/displayport.org claims it isn't - I had flicking issues.

Ordered the 10' version. The most important thing is that this cable is not VESA/Displayport certified. For whatever reason Amazon claims in the description this is VESA certified. Fact is on the official displayport.org website, this cable is not listed in there official certified product database. After buying this & connecting it to my Dell S2716DG (1440P@144Hz) which I've had for over a year with the original OEM DP cable in use without issue, I suddenly had screen flickering, where it seemed like the screen would lose sync, & have to resync every few minutes. Sure enough a quick google search indicated this is usually from using a noncertified/low quality cable. Switched it back to my OEM cable that came with monitor. Instantly no issues. I can only really go off the info available. Yes it possibly could have been a bad cable from Amazon, however Vesa/displayport.org doesn't list them as official & I have to side with them. I'm giving this 2 stars, because Amazon refunded me without having to send the cable back. I want to order a replacement Accell cable to try instead, which is on the list. I will come back & update this review once I have the new cable that is on the official certified list. Also the original OEM DP cable was 6'. I know 10'/3M is the max distance for DP specs & as such the 10' cable probably needs a lot tighter specs to not have issues, where as 1440P@144Hz at 6' is probably a little less demanding. So you may not have issues with this cable at 3'-6', but I wouldn't recommend this cable for 1440P-4K resolutions at 10'.
