Canon 1287C001 Ink Cartridge (Black)

I don't use a lot of ink but when I do I often use it for creative projects. That being so, I like it to produce good color and sink into the paper well. This ink does the trick and dries pretty fast even on paper that is less absorbent. It is easy to install in my printer which has not always been the situation in the past with printers at work and other ones I've owned. It does however, have one really big drawback. I would recommend using it sparingly because the ink levels drop fast. If you are a heavy printer, you'll blow through these way too quickly.
