Basic, durable, quality gaming mouse that works well for office use
By Chris Jung on Reviewed in the United States on May 2, 2025
I like that it has some style without being distracting in a business office setting. It's held up well for several years with no signs of wear in the mouse or cable. I prefer the reliability of wired mice, and this has been rock solid. No advanced features, but it does the basics really well. Perhaps a bit small for an adult male with size large hands, but fits well enough.

Uncomfortable for people with medium to large hands
By DeftDriver on Reviewed in the United States on April 12, 2018
I bought this mouse because of the features and good reviews for the affordable price. I must say it has a very good optical sensor and thus it is a very precise mouse with very accurate, stable, and consistent tracking. Right and left clicks are a bit loud and sharp sounding but give a reassuring but subtle click feel. The buttons are somewhat easy to actuate, however, and I should mention I did register accidental right clicks fairly often which was quite annoying. Also, not really a negative but this mouse only has one zone RGB lighting. So you can pick from or rotate through 16.8 million colors but the logo and ring around the mouse must always be the same color at any given time and neither can be turned off independently. It’s either same color all on or off. You can dim the lighting by choosing darker colors. The Logitech software must be installed to make any lighting changes. Though your color and button changes are saved if you then take the mouse to another computer without the Logitech software. On to the main issue and reason for my returning this mouse. It’s small. Smaller than I anticipated. I probably should’ve done some measurements beforehand but now I know what size to look for in future mice. Anyone with medium to large hands will be uncomfortable using this mouse unless you just like to use a claw grip with your palm way up over the mouse. Which leads me to my next point. There seems to be a peak right in the middle of the hump on the back of the mouse. This peak really dug into the bones at the base of my fingers and top of my palm. This and the small size and awkward grip lead to wrist irritation after just 20-30 minutes of use. I don’t have carpel tunnel but this mouse irritated my wrist more than any mouse I’ve used. This is a shame because it is otherwise such a well built and precise mouse. Nevertheless, there are great alternatives that are larger and more comfortable for those large handed people. I’d recommend Logitech’s own G403 or the SteelSeries Rival 310. Both have similar full spectrum RGB lighting and high end optical sensors and buttons like this mouse but are longer and wider and better for large hand palm grip styles. I went with the SteelSeries Rival 310 and am very happy with that mouse both precision and comfort wise along with two zone lighting. I would recommend this mouse only if you have small hands or absolutely must have a lightweight or travel friendly gaming grade mouse.
