HP Pavilion Wave 600 Intel i3 1TB SATA Desktop

This computer has a great form factor, decent sound, and was, as a refurbished item, cosmetically as good as new. The setup instructions, however, did not specify that the Bluetooth dongle packaged with the mouse needs to be plugged in to this computer. Since one of the selling points of the HP Wave was supposedly its internal Bluetooth, I spent a while trying to get the computer to pair with the mouse and keyboard without the dongle in place, and although the computer could see the devices it was unable to connect before I plugged it in. I am posting this mainly to help others avoid the same frustration: if this machine does have a Bluetooth built-in, it seems not to work with the provided hardware, so you will have to give up one of your USB slots for the dongle. Update: Now the keyboard and mouse are non-functional even with the dongle: I think I am going wired. Not sure if this is just my issue but it is a lot of trouble for a "new" machine.
