The battery is great and fits right into my ATT modem. Whenever my power goes out, the phone still works. When the power returns, the entire modem comes back almost instantly. No more waiting after the outage for connectivity and internet to return.

8 hour battery modem per year

Doesn't last ... I have had it for 1 year only and it is dead already - the whole point is to keep a phone line when the power goes out and the power has gone out only a few hours total in the year and yet this battery is dead...too expensive to replace yearly! Very disappointing.
