BASE+ Standing Desk Balance Board

A solid alternative to much pricier balance boards, with a very sturdy frame and attractive bamboo deck. However, I do have two complaints: 1) After using the board for a little over 1 day, one of the rubber feet has already fallen off. This was glued on using an adhesive that is clearly not up to the job of sticking rubber to metal. 2) The board was shipped in its box with no outer carton. This box was inadequately taped and arrived open. I assume the board fell out at some point in transit because it has some scuff marks/scratches on one corner of the frame. If I wasn't going to be standing on it all day, I would have asked for a replacement. Update: I have now been using this board for about a month. The edge of the deck is slightly higher than the metal frame and this has caused the bamboo edge to splinter. Several large pieces have come off, but this hasn't really effected the overall integrity of the board. All four rubber feet eventually fell off. I tried gluing them back on with an adhesive recommended for gluing rubber to metal, but within a few days they had fallen off again. This doesn't make any difference for me, because my office floor is carpeted; I'm just a little annoyed that the feet weren't attached in a way that would keep them stuck in place. I did seriously consider returning the board, but I still can't find a good alternative in this price range. Update: Still going strong after several years. Changing my rating to 5 stars. Just bought a second one for my home office. The rubber feet are attached better than on my first board.
