perfect for what we need, exceeds expectations

We use it on a daily basis inside the house, it work well, never a failure and inside a 1500sqf house we have no problem receiving wifi in any room. I'm also able to receive wifi in the garage wich is over over 20yards away and with not less than 4 walls between the access point and the pc.

If by refurbished you mean repacked previously broken unrepared device, sure...

got it, plugged it in, no lights, no power. Unplug, plug everything back in, I see a connection light on the thing it's plugged into, pull a DHCP address, ok things start looking good. But no internet, no admin page. Reboot again and walk away for a bit and come back internet, admin works, make my changes, look around as there really should be some lights on this thing, nope, use it for a few minutes and move it to a different location. Lights come on, that's new, but the thing won't power up. Plug in laptop and suddenly the backplane is a dumb switch as opposed to a router. Yeah, I'm suddenly one network up. Reboot, no lights, works. Check wifi, works. Unplug laptop works. Reboot with laptop unplugged no go, plug laptop back in, boot. So, only worked if wired when powered up, didn't appear any real refurbishing had been done
