This mouse is absolutely A M A Z I N G!!
By Cliente Amazon on Reviewed in the United States on March 18, 2018
The Redragon M711 COBRA is an AWESOME mouse for the price!! It stands at the same level as some other more expensive mice out there for sure. Came in an Amazon box (*wow*) with bubble plastic bag to protect the mouse box (yeah, there's also the mouse box, don't worry). Inside you will find the Mouse, of course, a user manual and a CD to install the software to edit your mouse settings: don't worry if you can't use CDs, the software can be downloaded directly from the Redragon website. Features: -Braided black cable 1.8 meters long -USB 3.0, gold plated -100-10000 DPI -9 programmable buttons -7 different RGB editable lightning modes -5 adjustable DPI levels -5 modes to save your presets (such as key binding, light colors, dpi setting etc) -Property software to edit all of these settings ^^^ -Button on the bottom to switch between modes Buttons: Left, right, wheel click, two side ones, 3 on top (by default they are: dpi up, dpi down, and switch color mode) + wheel scroll up and down (considered as 1 button, these two moves can be edited as well to do different things instead of scrolling!) All these keys can be edited in the software, to do (almost) whatever you want. Lightning modes: 7: Breathing, Rainbow, Full lighted, Wave (this is by far the best one in my opinion), "go without trace", reactive, flash; + off These can be edited as well in the software by changing the default colors, the time that takes to change colors, etc etc... DPI: You can set up to 5 different dpi levels that can be switched just by pressing a button on the mouse! This can be set up to 10000 dpi (I don't know who's gonna use 10000 dpi, but hey, you can do it). When you switch between dpi modes you will see the mouse lightning up on a default color based on the mode you just moved to: in order from 1st to 5th mode, Red, Blue, Green, Purple, Yellow. Modes: Again, you can save your presets on files directly on your computer: I don't think they can be saved directly on the mouse, since I've recently formatted my computer and lost my preset (not a big deal to be honest) OVERALL: Great mouse, feels very durable, clicks sound good, material feels great, wheel moves very well, rgb lightning is totally gorgeous, the bottom as two plastic stripes to make the mouse move really smoothly on the surface. BIG PRO: The sides of the mouse are not made of flat plastic, but are instead "rugged" (I don't know how to explain, but you can see from the pictures what I mean sorry). SAME for ONE of the two side buttons: this is very useful cause it lets you know which button your pressing without even thinking, since one is flat plastic while the other is rugged plastic. Just one con: The software looks very easy to use, but in my opinion it's not: for example, in order to change the DPI settings you have to change the value, save the file, load the file, click OK and only THEN you'll see the difference. I would have prefered to see the dpi changes right while editing them. This is not a big deal tho, it just requires you a couple of minutes to figure out of to correctly use the software, but again, not a big deal. About the company: Redragon seems to be a very serious emerging company, with a good customer service and, again, great products for good prices! Looking forward to buy a mechanical keyboard from them! CONCLUSIONS: I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this mouse to everyone, even if your budget is 10/15$ higher than its price, you can buy this product with no problems and be 100% satisfied! (and save those 10/15$ for something else ;) ) You can't go wrong with this mouse! *this was not a paid review or promotion review or whatever, this was made by myself, after having bought this mouse and used it for a while now, on my will, to inform other customers about the quality of the mouse* *of course a good coupon from Redragon for a keyboard will be highly appreciated for this review ;) .... just kidding ahah* IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A GREAT MOUSE, YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH THIS!!

Overrated, nothing special, and performance inconsistent
By Koosh on Reviewed in the United States on March 19, 2025
I got this mouse on sale for $17, have tried it for about a week, but I really don't like it and I haven't gotten any more used to it or anything. I'm not sure if I got a faulty one or not, but the laser is super inconsistent. I've tried it with all of the different settings many diff times but that's not the issue. It just doesn't work consistently, and I even have the wired version. I've tried blowing air onto it and such in case it was dusty, but that doesn't seem to be the issue. The scrolling is also inconsistent, regardless of settings, and I've tried them all, including the special features like "pointer acceleration" and "natural scrolling," etc. Sometimes it works ok for a little while. Maybe I just got a dud, but I don't think the design is anything special either - very basic, generic shape, that just isn't ergonomic. Could just be personal preference, but I am a small female with hands that are large for my size (wide palm span, long fingers, typical proportions), so my hands are actually very average-sized (same span as like your typical 5'10" guy, if a bit more slender), and I don't find this mouse comfortable at all. It doesn't feel natural in my hand, no matter the different angles and mousepad types Ive tried with it (standing desk, sitting at diff heights; flat or elevated or angled pads, wrist rest or no, etc.). Feels like an awkward size too and if I use it all day, my right hand feels uncomfortable after, which isn't a problem I normally have. I'm surprised this model seems to be popular. FYI, I'm not using this for gaming, but I do use it for detail work like design software and stock charting. Have used it with my MacBook pro and a large Acer monitor, same issues on both, which are newer devices, work great, updated, all that. I got a full-size wired mechanical keyboard (red-switch) from this company at the same time, which I do really like (on sale for $40ish), am quite impressed with the quality for the price, so I think I'll try a diff model mouse from Redragon and see how that goes.
