This flash drive is awesome. Super fast transfer speeds, sturdy metal build, and it looks great too. I use it for large files and it handles everything with ease. Works across all my devices and doesn’t overheat. No complaints. definitely worth it if you want something dependable and durable.

Great read speed, but write speed is disappointing

I bought this Samsung BAR Plus mainly for the advertised high write speed — up to 200 MB/s — which was a big deal for me. I already own several USB drives, but this one stood out because of that promise. In reality, it delivered excellent read speeds (over 420 MB/s in my tests using CrystalDiskMark), but the **actual write speed was only about 65 MB/s, and that was consistent. If you’re copying files from the USB to your computer, it goes very fast — no complaints there. But when you’re copying files to the USB, that’s where you’ll notice it gets much slower than expected. The build is solid and it looks nice, but the write performance felt overhyped. If you’re mainly reading files from it, it’s great. But if write speed matters to you — like it did for me — this may not meet expectations.
