Constantly, CONSTANTLY falling out of device

Bought this for my VR so I can watch netflix while plugged in as my VR only came with about a 2 foot cord. The end of micro part is shorter than it should be so it can't fully "push" nor lock in creating a very loose connection. It has to be pushed in fully very hard to even make a connection to my VR and even the slightest tap stops the connection and it charging. If I turn my head even slightly with this cord it falls out. The end doesn't "lock" in. The 2' cord that came with my VR if I move my head it will yank on my laptop and not unplug, this thing unplugs just breathing. In summary, I got the 10' model. The micro usb end is about 1/16" shorter than the specification (or compared to other micro-usb cords I have that work great), meaning the connection is extremely poor and may not even connect and this appears to affect the clips that help lock/hold it in place they 1/16" short from being able to lock the cord into the device.

Great build quality, ends not too bulky, wish it was 1' longer.

I was looking for a cable to replace another I had (different brand) that was starting to fall apart. This particular configuration (USB-C to Micro USB) isn't very common in retail stores, so I turned to Amazon. This cable is very well made. Very durable. Metal ends and cloth-covered cable. Kind of stiff but that's the point. I was worried that other similar cables had ends/plugs that were too bulky. My devices (a USB MIDI keyboard, the CME X-Key Air and my Galaxy Note 4 inside a Body Glove case) have Micro USB jacks that are down inside a hole, or in a crease, and bulky connectors wouldn't fit. This cable has durable metal connectors, but they're not so big that they won't fit into the opening of the case. The built-in velcro-type cable tie is great, but can be removed if you don't want it. My only "complaint" is that 3' is just slightly too short for my needs, and 6' would be too long. I wish there was a 4' version.
