"Amazing Sound in a Compact Package!" ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
By Amazon Customer on Reviewed in the United States on February 10, 2025
I am genuinely impressed by these Amazon Basics USB-Powered Stereo Speakers! I wasn’t expecting much, but the sound quality is surprisingly wonderful. They deliver clear audio with enhanced bass that makes music, movies, and even Zoom calls so much better. They’re compact, solid, and stylish, with a metal finish that looks great on my desk. Plus, they’re super easy to set up—just plug them into your USB port and connect the 3.5mm aux input. They work perfectly with my MacBook Pro, and the padded base prevents any scratches or slipping. For such a budget-friendly option, these speakers are an absolute steal. If you’re looking for a small yet powerful upgrade for your computer or laptop, I highly recommend this set!

No Bass
By Ken & Sharon on Reviewed in the United States on January 28, 2025
Let me start by saying that 'for their price', these are good speakers. If you love your music and want the full range, these won't cut it.I admit I've been spoiled with a nice Altec system with subwoofer for decades on my various computers. My computer sound system finally bit the dust and I needed a replacement. We plan on moving in the near future (our house is for sale) so I didn't want to buy a full sound system and then have to pay to ship it to our next home in a few months. Bass response has been getting better in smaller speaker sizes lately so I thought I would try these, just to get me by til after the move. These will get me by, but I was missing the bass response immediately. I used Windows 11 sound equalization to boost the bass response, but bass frequencies are still minimal.I am not a young man (I'm in my 70s) that likes to boost the bass until I can feel it pulsing through my body. I am an ex-musician who appreciates music and expects speakers to reproduce the entire spectrum.Bottom line, you get what you pay for.
