Premium Keyboard with a premium feel
By Mauro Duran on Reviewed in the United States on November 2, 2018
This keyboard is hands down my favorite keyboard I have ever used for both gaming and every day use (and after working in animation and design I have used a ton). Logitech's entry into more premium peripherals for gaming has been outstanding, and this keyboard proves premium products they make can compete with even the most known brands. The keyboard has a very premium feel and build quality, the switches them selves are very satisfying to use for anyone for gaming or just while typing doing basic things on your computer. It has a great design to it that makes it feel like it was really thought out, the spacing of the keys make it comfortable to type on while maintaining a very sturdy build with out being a bulky or ugly keyboard. On top of this the keyboard comes with a very nice wrist rest that along with the keyboard has a cutout for headphone wires which is nice depending on how your have your set up. The wrist rest itself feels like a premium wrist wrest, it doesn't feel like something they simply added in the box to make up for the value of the keyboard. While the keyboard is very nice there is something that I would have felt would have made this keyboard even better than it already is, that would have been to have dedicated media buttons on the keyboard, other ones that this price point have nice dedicated keys but this one does not unfortunately . Overall this is a fantastic keyboard that I can not praise enough, it has a great tactile feedback when typing and gaming, its build quality is great and sturdy, and the wrist rest if very nice bonus for anyone who constantly on a computer, you can't go wrong with this keyboard. In my opinion it is one of the better ones on the market available today.

Expected more
By Steven on Reviewed in the United States on August 12, 2022
One of the switches on my old skorpion k1 keyboard died so I made the switch to the g513... for the price I will say I was expecting a LOT more especially since I had gotten the skorpion for free on a black friday deal several years ago. The keys on the g513 (both my keyboards are blue switch) are alot less "clicky" and tactile, the skorpion is superior here although I'm not sure why since they use the same switches. The keys just feel like they bounce back better on the skorpion. If you prefer a less noisy experience then the g513 might be preferred for you. The wristrest does NOT attach to the keyboard, it is just a separate board. The leather cushion is nice though. The brushed metal baseboard is nice. The onboard color functionality is rather lacking, you only have 7 presets too choose from without downloading any additional software and no customization. The skorpion keyboard you could change the color of the ripple effect, the speed of the rainbow/breathing/color cycle etc. You could also customize each key individually. The solid color preset on the g513 you cannot even choose the color; it is locked in for cyan. Finally there is no led indicator on the board for the numlock, only capslock. For a high end logitech product I definitely expected better. This keyboard is also a little smaller than the skorpion; about 1cm less both horizontally and vertically. Maybe it will just take some getting used to since I just made the switch but it feels a little cramped; like a child's keyboard. For the record I have very small hands.
