Excellent mouse
By AJP on Reviewed in the United States on December 13, 2018
This is the Nixeus take on the classic Logitech mouse shape. The only things missing are the two dpi buttons above and below the wheel. The large button below the wheel handles dpi switching, so they're not a loss for me. The mouse feels great in terms of weight and balance, glide, button feel and tracking.Adding a current optical sensor to one of the most popular mouse shapes ever might not be groundbreaking, but it sure works. I like the matte finish available on the original revel better than their rubberized finish, but that's a nitpick.

Slippery and hard to pick up, not the same as the MX518 shape
By DafT on Reviewed in the United States on February 4, 2020
TLDR: The shape isn't like the Logitech equivalents, and you'd be better off getting the MX518 Legendary as it's really cheap and far better - sensor, shape, and general build-wise.The backstory behind this mouse, is that Nixeus made the very wise decision to adopt the renowned shape found in the Logitech G5/MX518/G400 etc mice, all of which span around 20 years of releases. However, they then removed the ledge from the right side of the mouse and made it a bit narrower. Why? I'm not sure. Possibly because they had to modify it to a small degree to void the possibility of legal action from Logitech? But the result is a very hard-to-lift mouse, at least for someone who used the previous Logitech mice in palm grip, with the pinky under the ledge (for lifting), ring finger resting on TOP of the ledge, just to the right of the right mouse button, and the other three in their logical places in the thumb groove and above the two primary buttons. And this is a very common grip for this shape. It's difficult to the point of causing hand pain from the strain after an hour or two. Obviously whoever headed up the adoption of this shape didn't understand what was good about it, or didn't realise it was commonly used in a 1-3-1 palm grip by its users.Pluses are the sensor, with a PixArt 3360, and the somewhat malleable cord, and that's about it. DPI isn't very accurately tuned in terms of the DPI steps the mouse has. It's far higher than my other mice at the same DPI settings, so I have to lower my sens by a good 10-15% before it feels close. The feet look and feel good, but I do suggest caution, as I may just have a lucky model. My other two plain Revels both have scratchy feet, with one having an entirely misplaced foot, and the second one I actually bought AFTER the Revel Fit.Unfortunately I can't describe any circumstances in which one should get this, as I just can't find a way to hold the thing, and that's as someone who can use a good many different grips (fingertip, claw, 1-3-1 palm and 1-2-2 palm, and 1-2-1 with the pinky hanging off). If you have small or medium sized hands you may have more luck finding a grip that works, but with 21/11cm hands, it's like an unsolvable Rubik's Cube (though one could argue all Rubik's Cubes are unsolvable for me *cough*).
