TP-Link AC2300 Wireless MU-MIMO Gigabit Router

The best thing I can say about this router is that it was packaged very nicely. Outside of that, this thing is worse than terrible. I am pretty sure a 5th-century abacus would provide me with better internet connections. It was easy to set up and I was connected within 5 minutes...things were going really well for about 137 seconds when the signal dropped. I restarted the router with no improvement. I finally dug a paperclip out of the back of a drawer filled with q-tips a He-Man action figure and a half-empty can of silly string and did a hard reset of the router. Once the router restarted and I began the setup process again I could faintly hear the brass horns of circus music beginning to play. The router software locked up continually and I finally gave in and downloaded the app to see if I could get in that way...nope. Nothing would respond or function. After 3 hours on the phone with support, I finally gave up and made the best decision of the week. I packed the router up and prepared it for a return.
