This is THE BEST 10in tablet I've ever bought

This is THE BEST 10in tablet I've ever bought! Last year I bought another "big name" brand of tablet, (10 inch screen as well) it cost $200 before screen protectors cases etc, so around $250 in the end.. Within a week it was garbage, my son dropped it and it cracked through the screen protector, through the screen itself and down to the digitizer (the thing that controls the touch screen).. He's four my son, and literally just dropped it with a case and screen protector etc.. On to this tablet.. First I thought for $99 with a free charging dock/speaker YASSS! BUT, also I'm numb to trying to find a budget tablet that isn't flimsy garbage so I normally just assume if it's cheap it won't last.. And, being a Lenovo I gave it the benefit of a doubt.. It's set up is effortless 10 minutes or less. I've seen previous reviews on how "complicated" it is to set up which isn't the case, at least it wasn't an issue for me.. It has been dropped, and the screen protector has been cracked but the screen itself was fine..It's fast! Much faster then any tablet I've had in recent years. It comes with 16gb of storage but I bought a 128gb SD card so downloading and saving isn't a problem.. The biggest issue I have and honestly the only issue I have is that it doesn't connect effortlessly to the dock. There's seemingly a lot of connecting and reconnecting which is annoying when watching a movie or listening to music but it doesn't happen all the time, so it's definitely a workable problem.. All together I'd say this is a nice, budget friendly tablet (with extras!).. AND, I'm not big on reviews unless it's really good or really bad..

From Decent, to bad, to the worst

I bought this tablet for 149 on sale and at that price point I WAS happy with the overall tablet/dock setup. Pros: Tablet is quick and smooth when moving through apps(I haven't pushed it with any large games Screen is bright and I have no issues with it being 1080 The speakers are good and clear(but not very loud), When plugging in headphones, there is a dolby atmos where you can customize equalizer and the sound is great The tablet feel is very nice with the front/backside glass Cons: The tablet/dock is at 60-70% Too often it won't connect through the bluetooth and a white screen pops up saying retry the bluetooth. Sometimes this is cleared by taking the tablet off, turning off the bluetooth, turning on bluetooth and redocking Other times you will have to power cycle the tablet and dock Many times the tablet will be docked and connected by bluetooth and it will lose the connection So it will emit a decent beep, reconnect, and beep again Glad I have the setup in the kitchen, would not work in a bedroom especially with the bright white screen that turns on while it's reconnecting. Overall I am very happy with the tablet because of the price I bought it at, but there is no way the setup is worth the retail price with how buggy the tablet/dock bluetooth connection is. No idea why they didn't have the interface done through the docking process instead of the bluetooth. 1 month update ... Dropping the score to 3 stars. The tablet and the dock will not stay connected over Bluetooth for more than 30 seconds. If I had paid anything over the 149 that I did for the setup I would be trying to return it. I will update the score if Lenovo pushes an update that helps stabilize the Bluetooth connection. 6 month update ... Dropping the score to 1 star. Bluetooth with the base works about 50% of the time. The screen will randomly turn on so you need to keep it dim or it will light up the whole room in the middle of the night. And speaking of night, the unit will randomly start playing music from Pandora in the middle of the night even when Pandora has been shut down. So now Pandora has been removed from the apps. When the unit is in the dock, at times the Amazon Alexa will start a video on something(like a recipe) and the only way to get it to stop is to unplug the unit as any other combination of screen touches, power button, thumbprint button will not work. If I would I would return this unit. I currently have it up for sale. 8 month update: Wifi will cut out once every 5-10 minutes for a few seconds which will break some apps as they will reload. No other devices in my home have this issue and it happens regardless of how far from the router I am. This is occurring even after multiple reboots and checks for updates. Unit is going onto Craigslist as it is no longer worth the hassle. Last Lenovo/Motorola product I will ever own. 9 month update: Unit sold. Have a Samsung Tab S6 Lite..much happier.
