Canon Cartridges are far superior to off market brands

I once tried an off market brand of toner for my Canon Imageclass printer as a lower cost solution. The results were less than impressive. So I went back to only buying Canon toner and I have been very satisfied with the results ever since. Highly recommend if you can afford to pay the extra to buy the Canon cartridges.

Cartridges failed after 4 months of use.

After using these cartridges for only 3 months, with more than 50% of ink left in the cartridge, the black began to fail in that it was not delivering the correct amount of ink on the page. Some lines would be faded and others would be missing the data in part. Approximately a month after that, the red cartridge (again with more that 50% left) began to fail in that it was depositing too much ink on the page causing smudging and streaking. Unfortunately, they are now outside the return window. Efforts to try to contact the seller were futile. Contacting Amazon only resulted in advising that we contact the manufacturer directly.
