Great daily NYC commute and travel bag

This backpack is simply the best. I wanted a bag that was going to hold a lot of stuff without being too big (a tall order, I know). As a commuter in NYC I sometimes have to have multiple pairs of shoes and changes of clothes for the gym, dance class, binders, snacks, water, umbrella. This bag is able to carry ALL OF IT with no problem. The back and straps are comfy and cushioned. There also is a rain guard hidden underneath the bottom for when you inevitably get caught in the city rain and need to protect your bag. That being said, the actual bag is fairly water resistant, but the zipper sections are not, hence why you simply use the rain guard, which just slips over to cover the bag. This bag is also a great weekend bag for traveling. The TSA DOES accept this laptop sleeve in its zipped open form, which made everything much smoother and didn’t require an extra bin. The charging capability is also very useful and works great. I didn’t get a lock with my bag, as some others said they did. Overall, this bag is great and has multiple pockets for all of your stuff, and it’s all useful space. Great bag; go buy it!

Build in USB port is not useful

So the concept of having a battery pack and a connection on the outside of your back for charging was a great idea. Unfortunate here the USB cable/Connection will not allow fast charging of any kind since its missing the critical wiring for it. So this became useless very fast. If you think you don't need fast charging consider the following. The average phone will drain power faster than a base charging rate depending on what is running in the background. It may charge and take up to 10 hours. Fast charge is more about volume not speed. Headphone hole is just a place for water to get in to. PROS: -I can fit standard 15" and gaming 15" with power adapters in at the same time without a problem. -Some pickets just right for mouse and other goodies -Extra padded at the bottom CONS: -Some of the pocket arrangement makes no sense and wastes space. -There is no mid or top loop to tie this on to a roller bag if you want to stack your bags. -After 4 round trips its starting to show some wear and tear already. -Shoulder clasps in the wrong place for long term wear. Conclusion. For the money its a alright bag. If you use it daily it might get a little annoying but you can use the space it offers in a smaller form factor for a back pack. If your a frequent traveler or use this for collage look for something a bit more robust.
