TUF Gaming X570-Plus (Wi-Fi) AM4 ATX Motherboard

I have been building gaming computers for 25+ years. I have lost count of how many gaming rigs I built over that last 2 decades. My experience with the ASUS AM4 TUF Gaming X570-Plus (Wi-Fi) has been like a non-stop re-occurring nightmare for months now. My experience with ASUS customer support has been even worse! This nightmare began after ordering the ASUS AM4 TUF Gaming X570-Plus (Wi-Fi) January 1st, 2023. The motherboard arrived quickly, secure in the box, no damage at all. So kudo's to Amazon for having their act together as usual. Unpacked the motherboard, installed the CPU, GPU, RAM, PSU wires and hit the power button. No P.O.S.T! Motherboard gave the RAM L.E.D as the problem. Ok, not problem, even though it was brand new RAM, I purchased two new sticks of RAM. Still no P.O.S.T. Tested the PSU, passed test. Purchased another PSU just to be sure, still no P.O.S.T. Called ASUS tech support. First representative spoke very poor English. For the entire call I heard babies crying and dogs barking loudly in the background while on the phone with her. ASUS is obviously not monitoring the quality of service these representatives are giving from overseas. Next call to ASUS tech support, the representative's level of basic technical knowledge was so poor I quickly realized it was a lost cause. Third call to ASUS tech support and I finally found someone that knew how to test the motherboard over the phone by asking me to run a series of tests. This tech rep told me the ASUS AM4 TUF Gaming X570-Plus (Wi-Fi) was dead and needed to be sent back in. Before shipping this nightmare back to ASUS, I decided to remove the AMD 5700 G and install an AMD 3600. The tech support people assured me the ASUS AM4 TUF Gaming X570-Plus (Wi-Fi) BIOS was updated to accept the AMD 5700 series CPU. I threw the AMD 3600 CPU in the motherboard, and immediately obtained P.O.S.T. Next, I updated the BIOS to the newest version [non-beta], threw the AMD 5700G back into the motherboard and then the nightmare became much worse. This is what I experienced after the BIOS update: RAM would only run at half speed. NO GPU would work except the integrated graphics. Windows 10 would not install, ONLY Windows 11 clean install. Contacted ASUS tech support again. ASUS representative finally transferred my call to Tier 2 level. This new tech support rep told me there is major problem with the ASUS BIOS release for this motherboard. They asked me to send them a detailed description of the problems so they could rewrite a new BIOS. So, here I am TWO AND A HALF MONTHS LATER, still no working motherboard. Unfortunately I also purchased the non-WIFI version of this motherboard, and same exact problems. Now I am out nearly $400, have two useless ASUS motherboards with no hope at all of this ever changing. ASUS has not even attempted to let me know of any near future remedies. I ordered another motherboard from a different manufacturer and everything worked perfect. Instead of 2.5 months of non-stop grief and sorrow, the new motherboard for the different manufacturer was an instant success just as 99% of my builds for the last 25 years. I have made a decision that I will NEVER EVER purchase an ASUS motherboard again. ASUS has repeatedly demonstrated unprofessional customer support care, extreme ignorance, false assurances, and extremely poor quality workmanship. I will avoid ASUS products like the plague!
