Perfect for work & music

I bought so many bad headsets before finding this one. I needed them for work and they work incredibly well, this is a very, very good brand. And I listen a lot to music and I'm still surprised by the audio quality, you won't find any headsets at this price range that sound as good. Pros - incredible sound quality for music, tele conferences, etc. - I hear others perfectly during meetings - Others can also hear me perfectly. - very comfortable - strong Cons - cable headset (I needed cable so no problem for me) - didn't fit well in a couple of cases I tried I bought a second one to work from home because I love them. Haven't tried them for gaming since I have other headsets for that, but if you don't mind the cable they should be good for gaming too. But for work and music, this headset is the best one at this price range.

Good mic but not good for music - too much treble

I have been searching for good, light, on-ear headset with mic. I really like the Koss KPH30iW, but they have a structural design flaw and they seem to always break in the same spot on the frame. For gaming, I use the excellent Sennheiser PC37X, so I thought I'd give this headset (EPOS Gaming Sennheiser PC 5.2 CHAT) a try. Unfortunately the sound quality is a lot inferior. The base is weak and the treble is overemphasized, so they are not good for music. The vocals sounds tinny, unnatural, and sibilant. Any high frequency sound like cymbals overwhelms and starts grating on your nerves after a while. I compared the same songs on the Koss and the bigger Senn, and those two sound much better with natural voices and solid bass. On the positive side, the microphone is very high quality and produces very clean sound. The headset is also very comfortable. I can recommend this headset for teleconferencing or maybe gaming, but don't use them for music or if you expect good sound in your games.
