Excellent performance and build quality

Excellent motherboard with one of the best VRMs ever for a B450 model, along with excellent performance. The only drawback is that due to lack of space, it can't have a more decent BIOS interface, along with the lack of ARGB connectors.

MSI and seller runaround
By Kindle Customer on Reviewed in the United States on July 25, 2023
I bought an msi motherboard in November for cyber Monday and hooked it up but could get no post I then contacted the seller and went through the steps for them to determine what was wrong with it they told me it was a bios problem and to update the bios. When the bios update didn't work I contacted msi and went through the same steps again only for them to determine it was a defective motherboard and to send it in to them... it cost me 50 dollars to send it to them through ups because I had to pay for packaging and the label to send it in for repairs it took 2 weeks for me to get that motherboard back and I hooked it up and still no post...nothing...so I contacted msi again and they had me send it in again I then asked for a replacement not a repair...I heard no word on if msi had received it so I had to contact them to see if it was there they then told me yes they received it and it was in for repairs. Keep in mind it's took them a whole day to get back to me on some of the back and forth so this went on for a couple of days. I told them I didn't want it repaired but replaced and that the person I had talked to said they would replace it. They then told me there was nothing to back up what I was saying and that they had to repair before it was replaced. I then showed them the ticket number where I had asked for a replacement and they said they would msi then said they would see what's going on and if they could get in contact with the rma department to see what's going on...I again recieved no word and had to contact them in which they said the motherboard was being sent back to me replaced. I received the motherboard and it was the exact motherboard I had sent in same serial number and little scratch on the battery. I contacted msi and they said it had already been sent in for repairs when they contacted the rma team and that they had done extensive tests and it was posting for the rma team so I hooked it up with only the power and the cpu attached to it nothing else...still have the red light on cpu...I tried a bios update again still had the red light... so I contacted msi and said I'm done with the runaround I want a refund... by this point it had been months they told me they can only repair or replace the motherboard they cannot refund me I would have to contact the seller. I contact the seller and they tell me it's been to long and can't refund me because I registered the motherboard under my name when I sent it into MSI which is what they would have done so they can no longer give me a refund....so I can't get a refund from either company and I have a useless motherboard and I'm out 200 dollars! Do not buy msi products customer service sucks and neither company wants to take responsibility for a faulty part.
