A great mouse with a unique color scheme
By Kindle Customer on Reviewed in the United States on November 2, 2022
I bought this mouse for my wife because she was a fan of the rose gold Razer products, however neither of us are a fan of Razer as a company. When we got the package it was in good condition, a little dinged up but nothing inside was shifted at all so the box did its job. The mouse itself is more then responsive enough for the types of games we play (COOP shooters like DRG and MOBAs like LoL) and a large leap up from her old Logitech G403. It's comfortable, the back and forward buttons are in reach with her smaller hands, and it has enough weight to not feel like a toy. In addition the attention to detail on the design is exactly what we expected from Republic of Gamers, and it subtly carries over all of their other products. The wheel's texture, the side pads, and the base of the mouse all have the geometric patterns and my wife loved it. Overall a great anniversary present.

DPI button is bad
By Speerdo on Reviewed in the United States on February 9, 2022
My old Corsair Harpoon had a small status LED on the DPI button. This was great because you could quickly check to see if you accidentally pressed it. I'd be in a game and start feeling like my mouse was moving at an unfamiliar speed. I'd glance down and see I was on the green DPI setting instead of red or whatever. A few taps of the button got me back to where I was. On the Gladius II, there is no persistent DPI status LED, so if you ever start to worry that you may have accidentally changed your DPI setting, you have to just start pressing the DPI button to cycle back to your preferred level/color. There are only 4 levels (The Harpoon had at least 6), and the mouse shows a temporary color after each click to inform you of your chosen level, but that's still less than ideal, especially in games. Luckily the Armoury software lets you reassign this button, but the options are limited to a bunch of actions that are already in use by the mouse (left click, scroll up/down, etc.) so the only option I could use was double-click. This mouse is comfortable, glides smoothly, and feels like it should be pretty comfortable. However, for roughly the same price my old Harpoon was wireless and had a DPI status LED.
