NETGEAR Nighthawk AX8 Router

After using the router for 2.5 months, I can now honestly attest how bad it worked. I am by no means a tech expert, however I have owned various routers that are much better than this product. The router periodically disconnected devices from WiFi causing great frustration and disappointment (e.g. smart lock disconnected, so unable to let family members enter remotely). After much internet research to resolve this matter, including the rare times speaking to Netgear's very poor customer support, there does not appear to be a viable solution. Therefore, I have switched to the ASUS RT-AX88U router (through a friend's recommendation) and now 100% satisfied with our home's WiFi abilities. Luckily, I'm still in the return window for this piece of junk and will be returning it ASAP! Let this be a warning, although it is visually appealing the actual router is horrible.
