A little pricey, but finishes off an amazing build!

When I saw these in pc’s on YouTube, I just had to have them. They’re pretty simple to install, but they’re use is a bit of a hunt as the little manual is almost useless. They look spectacular. I had them hooked up to the argb header in my motherboard, but I didn’t want to keep taking the case off to change their pattern and color, so I found some cables on Amazon that let me hook them to my Corsair controller and blam! I can now sync them with all my fans and AIO.

Loved the colour options and patterns available while it lasted, but after 2 years of service I'm now seeing dead spots and flickering. I've turned down brightness after noticing this a few weeks ago in an attempt to make the rest of the working LEDs last as long as possible. I've also purchased the LIAN LI 24 pin (V2) cable at the same time and it began to show the same symptoms shortly after, too. Typical PC usage has been roughly 40-50 hours per week with the lights on maximum brightness. Rounding up using maximums, that's about 50 hours x 104 weeks = 5,200 hours that I can expect from these cables if I go with them again. Not bad for $150 (both cables with controller) over time, but I was expecting them to last longer than this. Could be an issue with the controller, but difficult to test without a spare. Installation was straightforward and easy.
