HP Wired Stereo Gaming Headset with mic

These seem to be very strong head phones. The cable seems very well put together, I use the volume knob and mute switch many many times a day. I actually bought these for working from home zoom meetings and I have been quite happy with them for that purpose. The only downside is that I experienced the dreaded cutting out the first day I installed these; you know the staticky sound followed by cutting out that seems to happen to all headphones. However, something that has never happened before happened to me that day and the problem corrected itself. I have now been using these for several months with absolutely no problems. The microphone is really great, and when there are lawn mowers going loudly outside my window, people tell me that they cannot hear them at all. I am giving them 4 stars only because of the initial issue which corrected itself. Otherwise, if you get a good pair, I definitely would recommend. The blue USB lights are nice too, but I am not sure why I would use them... :-) ------------------------------------- Update 3/28/23 --------------------------------------- These headphones died today. These are probably some of the worst headphones ever. The sides of the headphones popped off, the headband broke, and today the volume on meetings dropped to 5% out of one ear. HP should be ashamed. I am a professional office worker, not a gamer. I am very disappointed with such modest use that these would fall apart so quickly. Cheap is as cheap does. One star!
