No problems, great graphics
By Allen Epling on Reviewed in the United States on October 8, 2020
I was a little worried after reading reviews that compared this card to other more expensive cards, but ordered it anyway because it was the highest rated card that would work with my power supply. It draws its power from the PCI express slot and draws much less than others that have to have a separated connector from the power supply. When I ran MS Flight Simulator 2020 with it, I was pleasantly surprised. With all settings maxed out, I still got 40 frames per second. With XPlane maxed out, I saw 50 FPS. It does everything I expected and then some. Its low profile fit within my small form factor case very easily. I don't really need any more "card" than this and it really upgraded my 'limited' computer.

not even four months in and a fan died and the card overheats

See this is only surpassed by the a2000 for low profile cards which does run circles around the 1650. But price wise the 1650 new is still around 200$ us and the a2000is more than 2x that new. i had a problem with an nvme drive that is new that was acting up on windows. I opened the case wtih the machine running and noticed all the heat. Looked at my graphics card and saw only one fan running. Contacted gigabyte and they accept the 3 yr warranty but i have to pay to ship it which means my card now cost me more than i paid for it from amazon. No telling when the fan stopped running. could have been months ago and i just didnt notice. BTW, the nvme drive on the motherboard works better now that that portable space heater was removed from my computer. What a difference a fan can make. So i'm not happy about this. I'm on a disability income and don't need even a small extra expense. sure they honor the warranty but i'm now without a card until they ship it back to me and i'm out the return postage as well. i wonder if it would cost me less to find a replacement fan and install it myself?
