Solid little mouse
By JL on Reviewed in the United States on June 6, 2025
After nearly 3 years of daily use and being dropped at least a dozen times, the left click button has developed a tendency to misfire if not pressed hard enough. I'd say that's incredibly good for a sub $30 wireless mouse. I didn't expect durability or longevity, but it seems Logitech still cares to make their budget products of an acceptable quality. The mouse itself is great, good enough for me to replace it with the same one. Never had trouble with the wireless connection, the batteries last a very long time, and it's comfortable in the hand. It may be a little small for you if you have large hands like I do, but not uncomfortably so. The materials don't feel cheap at all. The plastic has a slightly roughened surface that is easy to grip. The buttons and scroll wheel all feel solid and have clear mechanical clicks when engaged. (The scrolling is a little loose for my taste, but that's down to preference.) I'd much rather spend the extra $15 on this over an Amazon basics or no name relabeler mouse that'll burn out in a year. One final note: the Logitech logo will rub away over time if you care about the minor cosmetic issue. It's not really a thing they could easily fix, friction and skin oils will break down anything that isn't engraved in the material given enough time.

NOT Linux Compatible
By blutgeb on Reviewed in the United States on June 23, 2025
Don't be fooled: this is NOT Linux compatible. The preset functions will work, but it is not programmable on Linux because Logitech does not offer Options + for it. Piper won't recognize it, though another open-source platform for general Linux functionality might. Fortunately, I could use a new mouse on my Windows workstation, and the old Logitech MX more or less works with Piper, though with more limited options than I'd like. In any case, Linux users should ignore Logitech's misleading representations, which Amazon (probably unwittingly) replicates.
