Great mouse. Very impressed for the price.

It's nice and wide, comfortable in large hands. Very responsive and easily adjustable. I'm using it mostly corded and for graphics work. It hasn't jumped around or lagged. You can turn off all of the LEDs if you want (I did). It's stylish enough without having a disco in your hand. You can set it to Steady (solid color), Respiration (one color fading in and out), Neon (cycling through a rainbow), or Off. There's a handy switch on the bottom to toggle the lights, too. It feels like it will hold up. Not the sturdiest, but plenty capable. It should survive normal abuse. I was originally going to take two stars off because the software was not allowing me to apply custom macros to the buttons. On a whim, I ran it as admin, and suddenly it works.

A very solid mouse, as long as you have large hands

One of the buttons on my beloved Logitech G600 broke, and I'm not willing to pay $250 for a mouse, so I had to go looking for a replacement. This Impact (M908) was what I settled on. Over the course of the month I've had it, I've been having increasing pain in the side of my hand. I finally decided that it wasn't just muscle fatigue from my hand having to get used to a differently shaped mouse, and bought two others to try out. One of those was the Redragon Azzinoth (M921). If you removed the fins on the side of the Impact, it and the Azzinoth would be perfectly identical in shape, except for two things: 1) The Impact is slightly wider. And I really do mean SLIGHTLY wider. It might be one whole centimeter of difference 2) The Impact has a much higher palm arch Having two nearly identical mice to compare allowed me to figure out what my problem with the Impact is. It's just plain made for people with large hands. My average sized hand doesn't fit right on it, and that's what was causing the pain. It pushes my knuckles up too high, which puts strain on my wrist and changes my finger position. Basically, my hand makes a triangle shape, instead of an arch. You wouldn't think it would make a huge difference, but it does. As soon as I put my hand on the Azzinoth I could feel the relief. As you can see in the photos, the shape of the Impact shifts my hand to the side to compensate. That, paired with the high arch, creates a surprisingly huge impact on the muscles in my hand. If you've got large hands and have been struggling to find a mouse that's comfortable for you, congratulations! Give this a try, I think you'll like it. If you've got average sized hands, go get the Azzinoth instead. Other, much less important details: The smooth glossy plastic on the casing provides zero grip if you need to pick it up to reposition it on your desk, so you'll need to move your hand out of the usage position to pick it up The software to program the buttons doesn't have the ability to automatically switch to a different profile when a specified exe file starts running, so you'll have to manually change it if you have a specific setup for a specific game The adjustable weight is surprisingly nice, though the panel to access the weights can be hard to get out The overall shape of the mouse could use a little work. It doesn't really fit the hand as naturally as it could. It's not bad though I find that I like the little extra button just to the side of the left click more than I expected. It's advertised as a "rapid fire" button, but it's programmable if you download the configuration software. I set it to use my special ability in various games, or some extra hotkey that I use all the time but isn't within reach of my movement keys.
