An AIO with LED’s that doesn’t look tacky.

I bought this for $50 on sale. It’s easy to install, but I swapped the fans out for some 140mm Noctuas I had on a previous cooler. The default fans are loud. The mirror look is really nice, but you can turn it off if you want. I use this cooler on a 9600k OC’d at 5ghz. I have the radiator on top of my Corsair 4000D exhausting in a push config. My GPU under full load runs around 50-60F depending on room temp, so the CPU runs at that temp or slightly above. I have my fans running at 75% max on the radiator while gaming. I don’t use my CPU for anything else that’s demanding. I’ve heard some sporadic gurgling in the radiator, but it goes away after 2-5 seconds on startup. The temps do not spike as bad as my previous air cooler did, but I don’t know how it performs on CPU’s with higher TDP. If you’re looking for a 280mm radiator that has a minimal LED look, and does it’s job this does great.

I'm not gonna lie, this cooler was fine on my 5600X CPU for about 1 year ... the warranty period. However, after upgrading CPU to 5800X3D this last December I almost immediately began to have heat issues, mostly when gaming (Apex Legends), that lead to some unexpected shutdowns. With the absence of logs indicating otherwise I have determined the pump in this cooler failed. It was making clicking noises even though it was properly installed (radiator hoses above pump) in my Lian LI 011 Mini as a side mount/exhaust. I replaced this unit with an air cooler for about $40 here on Amazon, ginormus 12 heat pipe variety and have not had an unexpected shutdown over the last 2 weeks even when gaming which clearly ups the load for cooling. Since this is not aesthetically pleasing I am replacing now with Artic 360mm AIO as recommended by Tom's Hardware and Gamers Nexus.
