I’m so happy I took a chance on this computer!!
By Heather Nelson on Reviewed in the United States on February 21, 2025
I am so happy I took a chance on this refurbished 2019 iMac from Amazon! I needed a new desktop and had been wanting to switch to Mac for years, but the price tag always held me back. When I found this refurbished model at such a great price, I decided to go for it, and I’m so glad I did.Setup couldn’t have been simpler. I pulled the computer out of the box, plugged it in, connected to Wi-Fi, and I was ready to go. Everything worked perfectly right from the start, which made the transition to Mac even easier. Some reviews mentioned receiving a generic mouse and keyboard, but mine came with an original Apple Magic Mouse and Magic Keyboard, which made this deal even better. I’ve been using the iMac for six months now and have absolutely no complaints. It runs smoothly, looks great, and has been an excellent investment. If you’re on the fence about ordering a refurbished Mac from Amazon, I say go for it! It’s been a fantastic purchase for me.

Hard Drive Failed 14 Months In
By #A# on Reviewed in the United States on February 2, 2024
Well, first and last time buying refurbished Mac on Amazon. In late October 2022 I got what appeared to be a very clean computer, much faster than the super old 2012 Mac mini I was using. (Seller was Reuse Deals). The computer started shutting down intermittently about 8 months in. Couldn’t find anything wrong, but it was out of warranty so I thought I’d just deal with it. Last month (December 2023) it just shut off completely and would fail to start at all. Took it in to the Apple Store, they diagnosed a bad SSD/Hard Drive, and then told me they can’t fix it because it’s an aftermarket hard drive.Of course it’s out of warranty, I’m now looking at $400 to repair it to a working computer, which is hard to stomach for a computer I just bought. For reference, I’ve always owned Macs, my previous IMac lasted about 12 years, and my 2012 Mac mini was still running when I “upgraded” to this hack job.Save your money, go somewhere that will actually put a good hard drive into your “refurbished” computer, and don’t make the dumb mistake that I did and throw your $ into the wind to have a computer crash irreparably in less than 2 years.
