Best monitor I've owned hands-down.

Up to you whether you want to play the renewed lottery, just know what you're getting into. There's a good chance you'll get a good unit, but there's also a good chance you'll get one with one or more issues. I got lucky and have a monitor with 0 problems. At its best with no defects, the G7 is a monitor that's a cut above its peers. Samsung really knocked it out of the park with this one. Easily worth the $500 I paid for it, probably wouldn't play the renewed lottery for any more than that though personally, would just buy new at that point.

It took awhile for my eyes to adjust to the screen but I noticed if I lowered the brightness settings it was better. The screen is pretty nice, sometimes though it flickers, very faintly but I did get it used. I had it for a little over 6 mos now...we'll see how it fairs later.
